These concise terms are a working draft and should be reviewed before a public commercial launch.

Educational purpose

Spark Vocab provides vocabulary-learning material and automated practice feedback. The service does not guarantee a particular examination result, language level or learning outcome.

Automated feedback

Sentence feedback is generated through the OpenAI API and may be incomplete or mistaken. Learners and teachers should use judgement and report apparent errors. Learners must not submit private personal information or instructions unrelated to sentence practice.

Vocabulary-list references

References to the New General Service List, Oxford 5000 and Longman Communication 3000 identify list membership only. Spark Vocab is not affiliated with or endorsed by the publishers of those lists.

Features, locally stored progress and page structure may change while the service is under development.
